"Traditions" Original Mixed Media Painting

Inspired by warm sunny days and the brightly colored buoys that feature prominently on homes, fences, mailboxes and in the waters of Maine, this fun mixed media acrylic painting pays homage to the lobstering tradition of the Maine coast with lots of layers, bright colors and, of course, a lobster. A close look will reveal layers of collage peeking through the acrylic paint along with a few other fun details. This painting wraps around the sides with fully painted edges.
